£25,649 – £29,143 per annum

37.5 hours per week – 3 year contract

We are seeking the expertise of an experienced Ecologist to advise and develop the successful delivery of Greener Greenways – a volunteer based project for nature conservation on the National Cycle Network – and to give advice on all ecological aspects of our work in Scotland.
Ideally with a post graduate qualification in Ecology and a member of a relevant professional body, you will have experience of ecology of rural green spaces and have demonstrable skills in habitat management, field surveying, mitigation and report writing. You will be experienced in project management, have experience of overseeing the work of volunteers and be skilled at developing effective working relationships. You will also be well organised, have excellent communication and presentation skills and be IT literate. You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.
