SOAN Information Systems: May 2012 survey results

SOAN were approached my members from the West of Scotland Access Officers Group (WOSAOG) to investigate the different information systems that Access Officers are using across the country to see whether there were opportunities to learn from other Authorities. The priority areas we were asking about were statutory duties and path maintenance regimes.

SOAN issued a survey to all members and received an excellent 31 responses.

The picture is clear that no one system is dominating the market, satisfaction level were not particularly high and indeed there is a potential opportunity for Authorities to collaborate to produce a specifically designed system.
