Many members will be well aware that the Land Reform Review Group recently recommended a review of The Local Authority Guidance. SOAN are fully behind this proposal and are looking to take an active role in any review so that the opinions of Access Officers and other members are fully considered.
To this end the next Networking event will have a morning session on: “Local Authority Guidance – where can improvements be made?”,
and an afternoon session on:
“Lessons learned from legal cases”, including discussions around S14’s, Compulsory Purchase Orders and Liability.
